Milla Turns 1!

For Milla's birthday, we took her to Petsmart and let her pick out a gift. She got a stuffed snake squeaky toy and a big red dog. She loves squeaky toys!! And especially loves to squeak them while we watch our favorite tv shows.
To continue the celebration, we took her to the beach. She hadn't been since she was a little puppy and she absolutely loved it. She jumps over the waves just like a kid! It was too funny. We were a little worried she may try to chase and play with the kids, but we had her off leash the entire time and she was perfect! She stayed right with us, relaxed under the umbrella, and just watched all the excitement, occasionally taking a dip in the water. She loves to swim. I'm going to get her a little baby pool to play in for the backyard.
We go out on the boat a lot too and take her to the sandbar and she loves to run and chase after the seagulls. Sometimes she chases after their shadows on the ground. It's hysterical. She is my best little buddy!

Christmas Update

Camilla is loving the Holidays. My sister and her children were here and they love playing with her. I've got some great pictures of her sitting with them in a chair in our living room above. The children had been a little hesitant being around dogs because of some bad experiences in the past but they love Camilla and even let her sit with them as you can see.
For Christmas, she got a Chuckit, a dog bed, a hot pink doggie snuggie, and lots of treats! She loves playing soccer..(I'll try to post a video, it's quite funny) and she loves her frisbee and going on bike rides alongside us, she stays right with us and doesn't even need a leash most of the time. She also spends a lot of time with me at the barn I ride at. She loves going on trail rides with us because she gets to run and play in the woods. We have a domesticated deer at our barn too because his mother was hit by a car and we've been taking care of him. His name is Forrest and he loves playing with all of the dogs. He thinks that he's a dog himself! You'll see a picture of him and Camilla standing side by side.
Camilla is doing great and is loved by all. She's the best dog our family has ever had, and the easiest puppy to raise by far.

Update

Camilla is doing great! She got spayed 2 weeks ago and the stitches have healed perfectly. She now weighs 33 pounds and is growing like a weed! The vet said she may even double her weight. I posted some updated pictures below.
